Hi, I want to build a small dynamometer for some experiments, now I'm sure that with this DAQ I can connect and meassure force with a load cell, but If i need also displacement measurement? What kind of sensor you recomend for measuring ± 100mm, with a resolution/accuracy of at least 0.1mm. Will this DAQ read displacement from an LVDT?

Hello Serchu, Yes, our DAQ devices are compatible with DC based LVDT sensors. Our expertise here at MCC is with our DAQ hardware but the LVDT sensors that I am familiar with generally require a 10 -30 VDC excitation source and output a +- 5 volt or a 4-20 mA signal based on its displacement.
